Cee Bee Design Studio designed the 2 BHK Apartment for Mrs Radha Basu in Kolkata. They are Interior Designers & Decorators in Bengaluru. This talented team were asked to design an elegant, comfortable home that was also spacious. The homeowners did not want a cluttered home with too much furniture. Based on the brief, the designers created a layout that gives them exactly what they asked for.
The dining space is created in the extension of the living room itself. The open space leaves more room for movement. The sturdy dining table and chairs are made from polished wood. The artwork on one of the walls is quirky and unusual. The wall behind the dining table uses textured paint to give this effect.
The kitchen is simple and stylish. The wooden cabinets are made of lightly polished wood. The black marble countertop makes cleaning very easy. The oven is fitted into the space beneath the stove. There is also a microwave on the countertop.
The home uses a simple colour pallet and design and enhances this design with wooden pieces. The cabinet on the wide is made entirely of wood, with glass panels. It works as a storage anddisplay space. The cabinet on the other side of the door also works as a storage and display space. This cabinet has metal and glass design doors.
Despite the space constraints, the designers have worked their magic to include this small home office with a wooden desk and drawers and space for books and files. The consistency in design is due to the use of similarly polished wood in the entire house.
The other home office is placed in this nook between the wooden cupboard and storage shelves. We love how it’s a tiny, personal space that allows one to work without any distractions. The cabinets all have a vintage brass handle.
The seating area has a nice leather couch along with an upholstered vintage couch. This couch has carved wooden legs. The artwork is a mix of modern art and Indian art and both are displayed side by side on the walls.
The overall view shows us the beautiful floral armchairs that are placed in the living room. There is also a beautiful wooden and glass centre table in the room. There are so many art pieces on the different walls
The entrance is a sturdy wooden door, which is a design classic that will never go out of style. A beautiful glass chandelier hands just beyond the entrance to this home.
This view inside one of the room is a great way to se the overall layout. The wooden wardrobe looks beautiful and also has a mirror on one side. The leather headboard in cream matches the rest of the room quite well.20 amazing Indian kitchen designs.
